I’m honored to be invited to speak at the Association of Nonprofit Specialists networking event on Thursday, March 23rd. The focus will be how to get more results from events without spending more! Would love to see some new (and not so new) friendly faces.
After a few months away from posting, it’s time to catch up! I’ll be listing current, upcoming and past events.
Next weekend, I have the honor of designing the lighting for Ice Theatre of New York‘s Fall Benefit and Gala at Chelsea Pier’s Sky Rink. Marrying my love of theatre, dance and skating, an ice surface provides a wonderful canvas to paint with light and create atmosphere that supports the extraordinary skaters and choreography.
Fort Lauderdale is the Venice of the US! We recently worked with Jack Nolan and The Impression Group South to bring a bit of summer to NYC by staging a two day activation at The Shops at Columbus Circle. Hosted by style expert Lilliana Vasquez, a cozy cabana environment let guests relax and enjoy energetic fashion shows, make-overs and trivia contests.
Please join us at a very special event on June 7th! LPG is honored to once again work with Catskill Animal Sanctuary to produce their New York City benefit. Last year 30 rescued farmed animals found new “parents” who sponsored each for a year. This year, our goal is to have 50 animals sponsored! Tickets are $125 and will go on sale in April.
This past weekend I finally made it up to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in Saugerties, NY. In addition to providing a forever home for discarded farm animals, they have a wonderful bed & breakfast called The Homestead. Each morning Erica serves a wonderful vegan breakfast.
CAS is not just a client of LPG, they are a passion. Last year I “adopted” a piglet and named him Carmelo in honor of my father. Well Carmelo is no longer a piglet but a fast growing boy!
And then there are the ducks, chickens, horses, cows and of course goats. More than 300 animals now have a safe home at CAS.
Please consider attending our benefit “Cocktails & Cow Tales” on Tuesday, June 7th in New York City. You too could become a proud parent of a deserving animal!
Check out this video from the recent Critical Issues Forum…is there a difference between PR and marketing?
Last week, working with long-time client and partner the PR Council, LPG produced two stellar events.
First, their Annual Dinner & Awards at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers….
And then the Critical Issues Forum at the Rainbow Room…
More than 400 decked out guests and 100 of their canine companions had a wonderful time at the annual Bideawee Ball, held this year at the Pierre Hotel. A record amount of money was raised through the generosity of so many caring people.
Bideawee has been a wonderful client to work with and LPG was honored to produce this important event for the third time. Check out some highlights: Bideawee Ball 2015 Highlights
This past Wednesday evening, Catskill Animal Sanctuary hosted their first fund-raiser and cultivation event in New York City. In addition to great vegan cuisine by GO Catering and a moving presentation by Kathy Stevens, founder of CAS, 30 farm animals were available to sponsor for a year. By the end of the event, all 30 animals found loving “parents”, including a piglet named Carmelo (in honor of my father)!
Look at these faces….do you ever wonder how and where they live?
The Catskill Animal Sanctuary gives these discarded farm animals a home for the rest of their lives…
On Wednesday, June 4th, I am proud to be a part of “Cocktails & Cow Tales”, a benefit in NYC to raise awareness and funds for this important organization. Please go to Catskill Animal Sanctuary to find out more.
